Ingredients

  • tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 4 6-ounce skinless salmon filets, each
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 6 tablespoons MOTHER’S BLEND Orange Pepper Seasoning
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • ½ cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • Orange (sliced for garnish)

Instructions

  • Pat salmon filets dry and season with salt, pepper and garlic on both sides.
  • Coat the top side of each salmon with Mother’s Blend Orange Pepper.
  • Heat oil and then add butter.
  • Add filets and sear coated side for 3 minutes.
  • Flip and sear for 2 minute. Set aside.
  • Add garlic to pan and sauté for 1 minute. Deglaze pan with orange juice, honey and soy sauce. Add red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Adjust to your liking.
  • Bring to simmer until reduced and thickened.
  • Return salmon (coated side up) to pan and continually baste.
  • Continue cooking until desired doneness
